Il Trovatore (Complete)
Benefiting the American
Red Cross
Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund
Led by Artistic Director and Conductor Sung Jin Hong, One World Symphony opens its fifth season with a semi-staged performance of Verdi's Il Trovatore. More than eighty vocal and orchestral musicians will join together to benefit the American Red Cross Hurricane Victims' Fund. Il Trovatore is a masterpiece of the operatic stage that is sure to delight, with its familiar melodies, vigorous pace, suspenseful plot, and thrilling power. One critic wrote, "Il Trovatore was not just a success, it was a fashion." Verdi wrote to a friend, "When you go to India and the interior of Africa, you'll hear Trovatore!"
